About the band

Yeah Nah Yeah is a melodic alternative rock band from Boise, Idaho, blending the melodic heart of emo with the energy of post-hardcore and the expansive dynamics of post-rock. Their live performances move between atmospheric guitar lines and quiet vulnerability before erupting into driving rhythms, gritty bass, and walls of sound.

An active part of Boise's music scene, Yeah Nah Yeah has become a regular presence at The Shredder, performed at The Olympic, and took the stage at the Boise Music Festival. It's melodic alternative rock at heart, though the band has also called it “Mountain West Emo,” drawing on the raw emotional energy of classic emo while giving it a sense of space, atmosphere, and place shaped by their Idaho home.

In February 2026, Yeah Nah Yeah released their debut full-length album, This Is Our Way Home, through Simpul Records. Across nine songs, the album explores loss, uncertainty, connection, and the search for home, pairing intimate moments with explosive releases and a restless energy that carries from the record to the stage.
