Privacy Policy
Plain English first: we are a four-piece band, not a data company. We don't sell anything, we don't run ads, and we don't track you around the internet. The only personal information we ever receive is what you type into the booking form yourself.
Who we are
Yeah Nah Yeah is a band based in Boise, Idaho. This site is yeahnahyeahband.com. You can reach us through the booking form or by messaging @yeahnahyeahofficial on Instagram.
What we collect
If you use the booking form, we receive whatever you choose to put in it. Only your name and email address are required, so we have a way to reply:
- Your name and email address
- The venue and the date, if you have them in mind yet
- A venue or event link, if you add one
- Your phone number, if you add one
- Anything you write in the notes field
We use it for one thing: replying to you about the show. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't pass it to anyone else.
If you just read the site, we collect anonymous, aggregated page view counts. No cookies are set, nothing is stored on your device, and nothing identifies you personally. See the next section for who processes it.
We do not use advertising trackers, social pixels, session recording, or fingerprinting of any kind.
Third parties that process data for us
- Web3Forms delivers booking form submissions to our inbox. Your submission passes through their systems on the way to us.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics described above. Like any web host, their servers process your IP address in order to deliver the page to you.
Both companies have their own privacy policy governing what they do with what they receive.
That's the whole list. The fonts, images, and scripts are all served from this site itself, so loading a page here doesn't hand your IP address to Google or anyone else.
How long we keep it
Booking enquiries stay in our email like any other message. If you'd like yours deleted, ask and we'll delete it. Analytics data is aggregated counts only and is never tied back to an individual.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. If you're in California, that includes rights under the CCPA/CPRA. If you're in the EU or UK, that includes rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we never have.
To exercise any of these, message us and we'll sort it out. There's no form to fill in and we won't charge you.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Our shows are a different matter, and all ages are welcome wherever the venue allows it.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
